Our Story

Hey, 

We are Charlotte and Cali, aka Mummy and Mini CEO and we are the founders of Biankha and Friends.  We started our journey in 2016 when Cali started primary school and unfortunately fell out of love with her natural hair after receiving some negative comments about it from other children.  In order to help rebuild Cali's self esteem i tried to find to some black, afro haired dolls, but could not find any on the high street and realised there was a gap in the market.  Hence, Cali and myself sat down together and began sketching out what are now our Biankha dolls and I guess the rest is history!

We have gone on to be an award winning brand and have extended our product line from dolls to merchandise and even an animation that is coming soon.  Our ultimate goal is to empower all children to love who they are in this ever changing world through our products and mission.
